Our mission is to love God and love people, within and beyond our community as Jesus commanded.
Small Groups
An important aspect of the life of Christ the King is the ability to meet together outside of Sunday worship, in smaller groups, for fellowship, personal growth and outreach. We have a variety of small groups that meet during the week.
Missions
The support of missions is a fundamental part of the life of Christ the King. We believe God calls us: to do our part in helping to fulfill the Great Commission. Some ministries involve visiting third world countries, helping those on the streets of Edmonton, prison ministry, helping seniors, coordinating summer camps, refugee sponsorship and more.
Children
A safe place where children can be heard, feel loved and respected. Where children can build a relationship with Jesus and other followers and grow in knowledge, faith and love of God and contribute to our worship services. For more information contact Nathan.
Youth
The Youth Ministry's mission at Christ the King is to see students inspired, nurtured, and discipled towards a greater relationship with Jesus and their world. We meet regularly throughout the year for Friday Night activities and study. For more information contact Nathan.
Prayer
At Christ the King we believe the Lord answers prayer and we are not afraid to offer to him in prayer all our own needs along with the needs of those whom we know. If you are in need of prayer or would like to join our teams contact Sandy.
Visitations
It is so important to be available to people when they are in need. In addition to the Prayer Ministry, we have volunteers who visit people in their homes or when they are in hospital. Speak with Carol for more information on this.
Men's Ministry
On the first Saturday of the month the men meet for breakfast and group study. Often there is an evening outing.
Women's Ministry
The women in CtK gather on the first Saturday of the month for breakfast, coffee and conversation. Look for notices in our weekly emails.
Catechesis
Catechesis (ka-tə-ˈkē-səs) is the Church's God-assigned task of grounding believers in Christ and in the foundations of the Christian faith. It is making disciples by teaching as Christ taught the apostles, and calling them to live in the light of that teaching.
